Rat Corticotropin Releasing Hormone Receptor 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Corticotropin Releasing Hormone Receptor 1 (CRF1/CRHR1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The kit is built around a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is read on a standard colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

The standard curve covers a product range of 0.312–20 ng/ml with a reported sensitivity of <0.123 ng/ml. Detection relies on a biotinylated anti-CRF1/CRHR1 antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, TMB substrate, and an acidic stop solution; the resulting yellow colour intensity is proportional to the amount of target captured in each well. Reported sample values are serum (n=5) 80%–102% with an average of 91%, EDTA plasma (n=5) 81%–100% with an average of 90%, and heparin plasma (n=5) 80%–89% with an average of 84%. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is provided for serum (n=5) at 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97%; EDTA plasma (n=5) at 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108%; and heparin plasma (n=5) at 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91%.

Supplied components include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, a 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution, and plate sealers.
