Rat Corticotropin Releasing Hormone ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Corticotropin Releasing Hormone (CRF), this competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is intended for use with serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay employs a competitive enzyme immunoassay technique, in which CRF in samples or standards competes with antigen pre-coated on the microplate for binding sites on a Biotinylated Anti-CRF Antibody. Detection is carried out with an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose density is inversely proportional to the CRF concentration when the absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <4.58 pg/ml, the assay range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml, and the complete assay time is 2 h 30 min. The platform is a pre-coated microplate with colourmetric readout, and kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.
