Rat Copeptin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the quantitative determination of rat copeptin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate with TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. It is specific for copeptin with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants, and the standard curve covers a range of 3.125-200 pg/mL with a sensitivity of <1.875 pg/mL.

Serum and plasma samples may affect test results and should be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing. Validated sample dilutions include healthy serum (1:2) and rat brain tissue lysate (1:2). Reported spike-and-recovery values are serum 87-100% (average 96%), EDTA plasma 90-105% (average 91%) and heparin plasma 87-103% (average 97%). The assay is completed in 4 hours and read on a colorimetric microplate reader. Kits are shipped at +4°C and components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as directed in the protocol manual.
