Rat Complement Factor B ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Rat Complement Factor B ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Complement Factor B in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Complement Factor B, with samples and standards added to the wells where the target is captured by the immobilized antibody.

Following capture, a biotinylated anti-Complement Factor B antibody is added, then an HRP-Avidin conjugate. After washing, TMB substrate is added; the resulting blue product turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported assay range is 31.2-2000 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 8.8 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
