Rat Complement 1 Inhibitor ELISA Kit

This competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Complement 1 Inhibitor (C1 Inhibitor) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The kit employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate and uses a biotinylated anti-C1 Inhibitor antibody together with an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a colorimetric read-out at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader. Total assay time is 2 hours 30 minutes. Sensitivity is reported as less than 2.26 ng/ml, with an assay range of 7.81–500 ng/ml. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date. Reported recovery data for the assay are: serum (n=5) 80–102%, average 91%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 81–100%, average 90%; heparin plasma (n=5) 80–89%, average 84%.
