Rat Colony Stimulating Factor 1, Macrophage ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Colony Stimulating Factor 1, Macrophage (M-CSF) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with a Biotinylated Anti-M-CSF Antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the resulting colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer's datasheet, the standard curve spans 15.6–1000 pg/ml, with a sensitivity of 5.9 pg/ml (also reported as <5.9 pg/ml). Validation across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples (n=5 each) reports recoveries spanning 80%–102%, with averages between 84% and 91%. Dilution linearity from 1:2 to 1:16 covers 74%–108% across the same matrices. The total assay time is 4 h 30 min, kit components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed, and the manufacturer specifies that the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
