Rat Collagen Type XII ELISA Kit

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with colourimetric detection read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, and the full protocol takes 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported sensitivity is <0.134 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Linearity was evaluated across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, with average recovery values of 91%, 96%, and 95% respectively. TMB substrate is used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, and an acidic stop solution converts the colour to yellow for absorbance measurement.
