Rat Collagen Type IV Alpha 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, the Rat Collagen IV alpha 1 ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Collagen IV alpha 1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a biotinylated anti-Collagen IV alpha 1 detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with the resulting colour change read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The kit has a sensitivity of 1.38 ng/ml and an assay range of 3.12–200 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values are 80%–102% (average 91%) in serum, 81%–101% (average 91%) in EDTA plasma, and 80%–89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma.
