Rat Collagen Type I Alpha 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Collagen I (Collagen Type I Alpha 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The workflow uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, a biotinylated anti-Collagen I detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin/TMB colorimetric read-out measured at 450 nm. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

The standard curve covers an assay range of 1.56-100 ng/ml with a reported sensitivity of <0.61 ng/ml. Validated neat-sample recovery (n=5) is 80-102% for serum (average 91%), 81-101% for EDTA plasma (average 91%) and 80-89% for heparin plasma (average 84%). Dilutional linearity data are supplied for 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across the same sample types.

Supplied reagents include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer (30X), sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers.
