Rat Coagulation Factor XI ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Coagulation Factor XI in plasma and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a Biotinylated Anti-Factor XI Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate detection system. After incubation with TMB substrate, the enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the Factor XI concentration is calculated against a standard curve.

According to the manufacturer, the assay has a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.067 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported average recovery values are 91% in serum (n=5, range 83%–100%), 96% in EDTA plasma (n=5, range 90%–103%) and 95% in heparin plasma (n=5, range 89%–102%). Dilution linearity was also assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers.
