Rat Coagulation Factor II ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Coagulation Factor II (Thrombin) in plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a Thrombin-specific antibody pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Thrombin Antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The colour change is read at 450 nm, with intensity proportional to Thrombin concentration in each well.

The kit is intended for rat samples and has a reported assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.067 ng/ml. The platform is a pre-coated microplate of 12 x 8 well strips, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date. Detection is colourimetric, performed on a microplate reader.
