Rat Clusterin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Apolipoprotein J/Clusterin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate and a biotinylated anti-Apolipoprotein J/Clusterin detection antibody, followed by HRP-Avidin and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction is stopped with an acidic solution and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with concentration calculated against the standard curve. The standard curve spans 1.56–100 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of <0.57 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported sample recovery (average) is 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma, and 84% for heparin plasma, with dilution linearity data provided across 1:2 to 1:16.
