Rat Cholinergic Receptor, Nicotinic, Alpha 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor alpha 1 (CHRNA1) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for CHRNA1. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, and bound target is detected using a biotinylated anti-CHRNA1 antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate solution. The resulting colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration calculated against the standard curve.

According to the manufacturer documentation, the product range is 0.312–20 ng/ml and the sensitivity is <0.122 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
