Rat Cholinergic Receptor, Muscarinic 2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Muscarinic Acetylcholine Receptor 2 (CM2) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a colorimetric readout measured at 450 nm in a microplate reader. The bound analyte is detected using a biotinylated anti-target antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a yellow product after addition of the stop solution; absorbance is proportional to analyte concentration in the well. Reported sensitivity is <0.057 ng/ml, with a quantitative range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Supplied components include pre-coated 96-well microplate strips, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and adhesive plate sealers. Provided sample recovery data covers serum (range 80–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (81–100%, average 90%, n=5), and heparin plasma (80–89%, average 84%, n=5). Dilution linearity ranges are also reported for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions.
