Rat Choline Acetyltransferase ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Choline Acetyltransferase in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip configuration, with a biotinylated detection antibody and an HRP enzymatic reaction visualised by TMB substrate, producing a yellow colour read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The quantitative assay has a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.054 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Storage instructions call for kit components to be held at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.

Validation data report recovery in serum (n=5) of 80–102% (average 91%), in EDTA plasma of 81–100% (average 90%), and in heparin plasma of 80–89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity in serum at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% respectively, with EDTA plasma ranging 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108%, and heparin plasma 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% across the same dilutions.
