Rat Cholecystokinin A Receptor ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat CCK1-R (Cholecystokinin A Receptor) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The Antibodies.com kit uses a pre-coated microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format. Standards and samples are added to the wells where CCK1-R is captured by the immobilised antibody; after washing, a biotinylated anti-CCK1-R antibody is added, followed by HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm and the CCK1-R concentration is calculated against a standard curve.

The assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.079 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery averages (n=5) are 91% for serum (range 80%–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (81%–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (80%–89%). Dilution linearity data at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 are provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
