Rat Cholecystokinin 8, Octapeptide ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Cholecystokinin 8 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The 96-well microplate is pre-coated with Cholecystokinin 8 antigen, and the assay uses a Biotinylated Anti-Cholecystokinin 8 Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and a TMB substrate solution. The resulting yellow product is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with absorbance inversely proportional to the analyte concentration.

The assay offers a product range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <4.45 pg/ml, with a total run time of 2 hours 30 minutes. Supplied components include a Pre-Coated 96 Well Microplate (12 x 8 well strips), Lyophilized Standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution, and Plate Sealers. Reported average recoveries are 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma, and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5 for each). Dilution linearity data at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 is provided for all three sample matrices.
