Rat Chemokine C-X3-C-Motif Ligand 1 ELISA Kit

Offered by Antibodies.com within their Assays and Kits range, this sandwich ELISA enables the in vitro quantitative determination of rat CX3CL1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). Standards and samples are added and bound by an immobilized CX3CL1-specific antibody, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-CX3CL1 antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported product range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.061 ng/ml; total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported recovery in spiked samples was 80–102% for serum (average 91%), 81–101% for EDTA plasma (average 91%) and 80–89% for heparin plasma (average 84%). Linearity was demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and include a lyophilized standard, detection solution A (120 μl), detection solution B (120 µl), 30X wash buffer (20 ml), sample dilution buffer (45 ml), TMB substrate (9 ml), stop solution (6 ml) and plate sealers.
