Rat Cerebral Dopamine Neurotrophic Factor ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Cerebral Dopamine Neurotrophic Factor (CDNF) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format with colourmetric detection read on a microplate reader at 450 nm.

Quantitative performance is defined across a standard range of 0.156-10 ng/ml with a reported sensitivity of <0.067 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. The procedure uses a biotinylated anti-CDNF detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a yellow colour whose intensity is proportional to CDNF concentration. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.

Validated sample matrices include serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with reported recovery averages of 91%, 90% and 84% respectively. Linearity has been demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for each of these sample types.
