Rat Cathepsin S ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Cathepsin S in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, a Biotinylated Anti-Cathepsin S detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is generated with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Stated sensitivity is <0.227 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.625–40 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are supplied for storage at +4°C or –20°C as instructed. Manufacturer-reported average recovery values are 91% for serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5).
