Rat Cathepsin D ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Cathepsin D in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and follows the standard sandwich immunoassay workflow, with a biotinylated anti-Cathepsin D detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate producing a colorimetric signal read at 450 nm.

Stated performance figures include an assay range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <6.5 pg/ml. The total assay time is 4 h 30 min, and plates are read on a colorimetric microplate reader. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed.
