Rat Catalase ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Catalase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-Catalase detection antibody paired with an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Captured Catalase is visualised with a TMB substrate solution that yields a yellow product upon addition of the acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the Catalase concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

Stated performance characteristics include a working range of 1.56-100 ng/ml, a sensitivity of <0.57 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m.
