Rat Caspase 7 ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative in vitro measurement of Caspase-7 in rat-derived samples. The kit is validated for tissue homogenates and other biological fluids and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm. The sandwich enzyme immunoassay uses a pre-coated antibody microplate, a Biotinylated Anti-Caspase-7 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a yellow chromophore whose intensity is proportional to analyte concentration. Sensitivity is 0.117 ng/ml across an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, and the complete protocol runs in 4 hours 30 minutes.

Validation results report recovery averaging 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity tested at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 spanned 74% to 108% across matrices. Components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
