Rat Carboxypeptidase B1, Tissue ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Carboxypeptidase B (Carboxypeptidase B1, Tissue) in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay runs on a pre-coated microplate using a biotinylated anti-CPB detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <0.057 ng/ml and the standard curve range is 0.156-10 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Spike-and-recovery validation (n=5) returned average recoveries of 91% in serum (range 80-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81-100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80-89%). Dilution linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 gave ranges of 87-107% in serum, 79-108% in EDTA plasma, and 82-105% in heparin plasma.
