Rat Carboxylesterase 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Liver Carboxylesterase 1 (CES1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with detection performed colorimetrically by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

The standard curve covers a product range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of 0.107 ng/ml. In spike-and-recovery testing across five replicates per matrix, recoveries averaged 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16; serum spanned 74–107%, EDTA plasma 79–108% and heparin plasma 82–105% across the dilutions tested. The kit is intended for rat samples, and components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.
