Rat Carbonic Anhydrase IX ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Carbonic Anhydrase 9/CA9 in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and uses a Biotinylated Anti-Carbonic Anhydrase 9/CA9 detection antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate used to generate a colourmetric signal. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of CA9 is calculated against a standard curve; total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of 16.2 pg/ml and a product range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml. Spike-and-recovery values are given for serum (average 91%, range 80%-102%), EDTA plasma (average 90%, range 81%-100%) and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80%-89%), with dilution linearity reported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions for each matrix.
