Rat Cannabinoid Receptor 2, Macrophage ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Cannabinoid Receptor II in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-Cannabinoid Receptor II detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.056 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Reported recoveries (n=5) were 80–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Linearity of dilution was also demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions in all three sample matrices.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4 °C or –20 °C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
