Rat Calreticulin ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Calreticulin in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) pre-coated with a Calreticulin-specific antibody. Standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Calreticulin Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with the enzymatic reaction developed using TMB substrate and a stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer, the working range is 31.2-2000 pg/ml, the sensitivity is <14.2 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported recovery values are: serum (n=5) range 80%-102%, average 91%; EDTA plasma (n=5) range 81%-100%, average 90%; heparin plasma (n=5) range 80%-89%, average 84%. Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with serum (n=5) at 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97%; EDTA plasma (n=5) at 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108%; and heparin plasma (n=5) at 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91%.

Supplied components include the pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 μl), Detection Solution B (120 μl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and plate sealers, each stored between +4°C and -20°C as instructed.
