Rat Calcineurin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Calcineurin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate using a biotinylated anti-Calcineurin A antibody for detection with an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The calibration range is 0.312-20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.104 ng/ml, and the protocol takes 4 hours 30 minutes.

Manufacturer validation data report ranges and averages of 80-102% (average 91%) in serum, 81-100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma and 80-89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma, each with n=5. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 gave, in serum, 70-107%, 89-93%, 86-104% and 80-103%; in EDTA plasma, 95-100%, 85-110%, 81-99% and 90-102%; and in heparin plasma, 77-104%, 88-95%, 94-104% and 80-107%. The kit is suitable for cell lysates, tissue homogenates and cell culture supernates.
