Rat C-Type Natriuretic Peptide ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat C-type Natriuretic Peptide in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for C-type Natriuretic Peptide is pre-coated onto a microplate, and standards or test samples are added to the wells so that the target is captured by the immobilised antibody. Bound C-type Natriuretic Peptide is then detected using a Biotinylated Anti-C-type Natriuretic Peptide Antibody, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The resulting yellow colour is read at 450 nm and is proportional to peptide concentration in each well.

The assay covers a stated range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 12.4 pg/ml and a total run time of 4h 30m. Recovery and dilution linearity have been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date.
