Rat C Reactive Protein ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat C Reactive Protein in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It is a quantitative sandwich assay read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, with concentrations calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The standard sandwich enzyme immunoassay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), a biotinylated anti-C Reactive Protein detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate visualised with TMB substrate. The assay has a detection range of 0.781-50 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.35 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.

Reported recovery values are serum (n=5) 80%-102% averaging 91%, EDTA plasma (n=5) 81%-100% averaging 90%, and heparin plasma (n=5) 80%-89% averaging 84%. Dilution linearity has been examined at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in the same sample types. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and include pre-coated strips, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers.
