Rat C-Myc Binding Protein ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of rat C-Myc Binding Protein (also referred to as AMY-1) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, together with a biotinylated anti-AMY-1 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Sensitivity is reported as <0.059 ng/ml across an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, and the total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Spike-and-recovery has been characterised in serum (n=5) at 80–102% with an average of 91%, in EDTA plasma (n=5) at 81–100% with an average of 90%, and in heparin plasma (n=5) at 80–89% with an average of 84%. Dilutional linearity was confirmed across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions in serum (87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101%, 92–97%), EDTA plasma (90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101%, 79–108%) and heparin plasma (84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105%, 89–91%).
