Rat BH3 Interacting Domain Death Agonist ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies this sandwich ELISA kit for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Bid (BH3 Interacting Domain Death Agonist) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. A Bid-specific capture antibody is immobilised on the plate; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-Bid antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the reaction, which is stopped with an acidic solution and the absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with concentration determined against the standard curve.

The assay has a stated product range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.107 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.
