A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com intended for the quantitative in vitro determination of rat BCA1 (B-Lymphocyte Chemoattractant 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with antibody specific for rat BCA1. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where BCA1 is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-BCA1 Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate solution. The HRP-catalyzed reaction produces a blue product that converts to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and BCA1 concentration is interpolated from the standard curve.
