Rat B-Cell CLL/Lymphoma 2 Like Protein 2 ELISA Kit

The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique using an antibody specific for Bcl2L2 pre-coated onto the plate. Standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Bcl2L2 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Detection is colourimetric: the TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. The reported range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.067 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4 h 30 m.

Reported recovery values are 80–102 % for serum (average 91 %, n=5), 81–101 % for EDTA plasma (average 91 %, n=5), and 80–89 % for heparin plasma (average 84 %, n=5). Kit components should be stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
