Rat ATPase, Ca++ Transporting, Plasma Membrane 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Calcium Pump PMCA2 ATPase (ATPase, Ca++ Transporting, Plasma Membrane 2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip configuration, with colourmetric detection read at 450 nm using a microplate reader.

Performance specifications include a standard range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.057 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. The kit comprises a lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, Wash Buffer (30X), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution, plate sealers and the pre-coated microplate. Components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Sample recovery validation (n=5) gave averages of 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 91% for EDTA plasma (range 81–101%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity (n=5) at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions was 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma.
