Rat Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor Nuclear Translocator Like Protein ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat BMAL1, also known as Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor Nuclear Translocator Like Protein, in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. A biotinylated anti-BMAL1 antibody binds the captured target, an HRP-avidin conjugate is then added, and the enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose intensity is proportional to BMAL1 concentration. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of 0.057 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery has been characterised in serum (80%–102%), EDTA plasma (81%–100%), and heparin plasma (80%–89%).
