Rat Apolipoprotein C2 ELISA Kit

Available through Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the quantitative in vitro determination of rat Apolipoprotein CII/ApoC-II in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-ApoC-II detection antibody, HRP-avidin and TMB substrate producing a yellow product read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative performance is supported by a standard range of 39-2500 pg/ml, a sensitivity of 14 pg/ml and an assay time of 4h 30m. In spike-and-recovery testing (n=5), average recovery was 91% for serum (range 80-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (n=5) gave overall recovery ranges of 74-107% in serum, 79-108% in EDTA plasma and 82-105% in heparin plasma.
