Rat Apolipoprotein C1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Apolipoprotein C1 (Apo-CI) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) read colourmetrically on a standard microplate reader at 450 nm, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. The capture antibody is reported as a mouse IgG.

The manufacturer reports a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.12 ng/ml. Reported spike-and-recovery ranges for rat samples were 80%–102% in serum (n=5, average 91%), 81%–100% in EDTA plasma (n=5, average 90%) and 80%–89% in heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 was reported as 74%–107% across the same sample types, depending on matrix and dilution.
