Rat Annexin A2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Annexin-2/ANXA2 in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The platform is a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, with detection based on a colourmetric HRP enzymatic reaction. Following incubation with biotinylated anti-Annexin-2/ANXA2 antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate, TMB substrate is added; absorbance is read at 450 nm and the analyte concentration is calculated from a standard curve. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

The stated assay range is 125-8000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <43 pg/ml. Recovery was assessed for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5 each) at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Reported undiluted average recoveries were 91% (serum), 90% (EDTA plasma) and 84% (heparin plasma); diluted recoveries spanned 74% to 108% across the conditions tested.
