The assay employs an antibody specific for ANKRD1 pre-coated onto a microplate, with a biotinylated anti-ANKRD1 detection antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, and is read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader. Reported sensitivity is 0.058 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m.
