Rat Angiotensin I Converting Enzyme ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Angiotensin I Converting Enzyme (ACE) in serum, plasma, cerebrospinal fluid or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) together with a biotinylated anti-ACE antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate; signal is developed with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and the kit is intended for use with a colorimetric microplate reader.

The stated assay range is 3.12-200 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <1.16 ng/ml. Reported recovery rates (n=5) include serum at 80%-102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma at 81%-100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma at 80%-89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity is reported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
