Rat Angiogenin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com comes a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Angiogenin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The Rat Angiogenin ELISA Kit is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). Standards and samples are added to the wells where Angiogenin is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-Angiogenin antibody is added, followed by HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colour reaction is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the Angiogenin concentration is determined against a standard curve. The assay range is 78.1-5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 26 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Recovery in spiked samples is reported as 80%-102% (mean 91%) for serum, 81%-101% (mean 91%) for EDTA plasma and 80%-89% (mean 84%) for heparin plasma, and the kit has been validated for use with 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions of serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples. Kit components include pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection reagents, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
