Description
From Antibodies.com, the Rat Androgen Receptor ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Androgen Receptor in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, a biotinylated anti-Androgen Receptor detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.
Quantitative performance is reported with a sensitivity of <0.54 ng/ml and an assay range of 1.56–100 ng/ml. The protocol requires approximately 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated. Recovery data (n=5) are provided for serum (range 80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81–99%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (range 80–89%, average 84%), alongside dilution linearity values at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same sample types.
