Rat Amphiregulin ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Rat Amphiregulin ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay configured for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Amphiregulin in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The procedure uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate formed of 12 x 8 well strips, together with a biotinylated anti-Amphiregulin antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Stated sensitivity is 12.7 pg/ml and assay range is 31.2-2000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery across sample types (n=5 each) is 80%-102% (average 91%) for serum, 81%-100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma, and 80%-89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Linearity at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was, respectively, 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma.

Supplied components are a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120µl), Detection Solution B (120µl), 30X Wash Buffer (20ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45ml), TMB Substrate (9ml), Stop Solution (6ml) and Plate Sealers. Standards, detection solutions and sample dilution buffer are stored at -20°C; wash buffer, TMB substrate and stop solution at +4°C. Detection is colourimetric, performed on a standard microplate reader.
