Rat Alkaline Phosphatase, Intestinal ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat intestinal alkaline phosphatase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with antibody specific for intestinal alkaline phosphatase, with bound analyte detected using a biotinylated anti-intestinal alkaline phosphatase antibody, HRP-avidin, and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm. The product range is 0.781–50 ng/ml with a reported sensitivity of 0.33 ng/ml, and the assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Validated recovery in serum ranges from 80% to 102% (average 91%, n=5), in EDTA plasma from 81% to 100% (average 90%, n=5), and in heparin plasma from 80% to 89% (average 84%, n=5). Sample dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 are supported across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.
