Rat Aldolase A, Fructose Bisphosphate ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com offers a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Aldolase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The product is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Aldolase Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualize the reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the Aldolase concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve. Reported sensitivity is 0.058 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and an approximate total assay time of 4h 30m.

Reported recovery values are: serum n=5, range 80%-102%, average 91%; EDTA plasma n=5, range 81%-100%, average 90%; heparin plasma n=5, range 80%-89%, average 84%.
