Rat Adrenocorticotropic Hormone Receptor ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Rat ACTHR ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat adrenocorticotropic hormone receptor (ACTHR) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). Standards and samples are added to wells where ACTHR is captured by the immobilised antibody; bound analyte is then detected with a Biotinylated Anti-ACTHR Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, visualised via TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Reported sensitivity is <0.234 ng/ml, quantitative range is 0.625–40 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.

Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 (n=5) is reported for serum (87–91% to 92–97%), EDTA plasma (90–105% to 79–108%) and heparin plasma (84–95% to 89–91%). Spike-and-recovery across n=5 is 80%–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81%–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80%–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma.
