Rat Adiponectin Receptor 2 ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Rat Adiponectin Receptor 2 ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Adiponectin Receptor 2/ADIPOR2 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate on which standards and test samples bind to an immobilised antibody specific for ADIPOR2. A Biotinylated Anti-ADIPOR2 Antibody then binds the captured target, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate solution, producing a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of ADIPOR2 is calculated by reference to a standard curve. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product must not be used past its expiration date.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of <0.125 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml. Sample recovery has been reported for serum (n=5) at 80%-102% averaging 91%, EDTA plasma (n=5) at 81%-101% averaging 91%, and heparin plasma (n=5) at 80%-89% averaging 84%. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 has been reported for serum (n=5) at 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, and 92-97% respectively; for EDTA plasma (n=5) at 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, and 79-108%; and for heparin plasma (n=5) at 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, and 89-91%.
