Rat Activated Leukocyte Cell Adhesion Molecule ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat CD166 (Activated Leukocyte Cell Adhesion Molecule) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and read colorimetrically at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader.

Reported performance figures include a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.064 ng/ml. Standards and samples are captured by an immobilised anti-CD166 antibody, detected with a biotinylated anti-CD166 antibody, visualised with an HRP–avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, and quantified after addition of acidic stop solution by reading absorbance at 450 nm against the standard curve. Spike-and-recovery averages are 91% for serum (range 80%–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%–89%); dilution-linearity ranges at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 are 87–91% / 87–107% / 74–101% / 92–97% for serum, 90–105% / 84–101% / 90–101% / 79–108% for EDTA plasma and 84–95% / 92–105% / 82–105% / 89–91% for heparin plasma.

Total assay time is approximately 4 h 30 min. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
